Chapter Seven / Questions

Real answers. No fluff.

№ 01 How much does it cost to remove a tree? +

Depends on size, location, and difficulty. A 30-foot tree in an open yard is around $450. A 70-foot oak over a house with a crane is $1,800–$3,500. We give a fixed-price written quote after the site visit — no surprises.

№ 02 Are you really 24/7 for storms? +

Yes. Live human dispatcher every hour of every day. November through April we keep two trucks on overnight standby. Average storm-call response is under an hour inside our radius.

№ 03 Do I need a permit to remove a tree? +

Usually no for trees on private property. Some towns require permits for trees over a certain diameter or near wetlands. We check ordinances for your address before quoting and pull permits if needed.

№ 04 Are you insured? +

$2M liability and full workers' comp. We send certificates to you or your insurer on request. Homeowner's policies typically cover storm-damage tree removal — we can bill the insurer direct for most claims.

№ 05 Can the tree be saved instead of removed? +

Often, yes. Our ISA-certified arborists will tell you straight if a careful prune, cable, or treatment can save a tree we'd otherwise take down. Older healthy trees are worth saving when we can.

№ 06 Do you haul off the wood? +

Your call. We'll chip everything and haul it (included), or cut and leave the trunk to firewood length. Stump grinding is a separate line item.
